White Gravy

3 TablespoonButter, stick
1/4 cupFlour, all purpose
~2 cupsMilk
to tasteSalt
to tastePepper, Black

Serves: 4 people

Melt the butter in a sauce pan. Stir in flour a little at a time to prevent clumping. Heat slightly. Start adding small amounts of milk while continual heating and mixing. Keep adding milk until smooth. Heat until bubbly and desired consistency.
