| 1 (chopped) | onion |
| 4 cups (sliced) | Red Potatoes |
| 2 Teaspoon | Salt |
| 1/8 Teaspoon | Pepper, Black |
| 1 Teaspoon | basil |
| 1 cup | water |
| 1 can | corn, cream style |
| 1 can | Corn, canned |
| 12 oz | evaporated milk |
Serves: 6 people
Shape sausage meat into a large flat patty in a kettle; brown 5 minutes on each side. Drain off all fat; break meat into chunks and push to one side. Return 2 Tablespoons fat to the kettle; add onion and saute until soft. Stir in potatoes, salt, basil, pepper, and water; cover. Simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in corn and liquid and evaporated milk; cover. Heat just to boiling.
Crock pot: Brown sausage in skillet. Pour ingredients into crock pot; stir. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 8-12 hours.
